Write fake text messages
Unleash your inner prankster with the Fake Sms Message app. It is a free-to-download tool for composing and delivering fake messages to your own device. While it’s good for fooling your nosy friends, you can’t forward the prank messages to your contacts.
For older operating systems
In Fake Sms Message, there are two textboxes on the screen—one for the phone number and one for your text message. Below the “Compose Message” bar are five options: “Inbox,” “Outbox,” “Sent,” “Failed,” and “Draft.” If you select “Inbox,” for example, the fake message will be sent to the inbox.
However, there’s no option to set your own date and time information on a message. Unfortunately, the app is not compatible with devices with newer operating systems. For instance, if you want to give this one a try, it’s recommended to download it on a device with Android 4.4.
Can still be improved
Although it only works with older mobile versions, Fake Sms Message is still a wonderful app for creating fake texts and inciting laughter among your friends. However, having a dedicated date and time setting can make the faux messages more believable.
